About Mizuki

Mizuki is a nice Japanese girl and she is very beautiful, hehe. Now I can see she is quite different from other Japanese girl, sometimes I feel other Japanese girls are so shy that I don’t know how I can talk to them. But Mizuki is very easily to talk and communicate. So far as I can see, Mizuki is a very ambitious girl. She still wants to go to a good university to achieve her own goal. Last Friday, she took the TOEFL and I think that an important step to her goal, because everyschool here need TOEFL. I think I should keep in touch with her after we finish the ELP study.
Now after the spring break, Mizuki had a wonderful spring break in Atlanta city. She went to the starbucks and went shopping a lot. She had so much fun that she felt a little tired when she came back. She had a healthy spring break because she didn’t smoke at Atlanta city, that’s awesome. Mizuki has taken the TOEFL exams the Friday before last Friday; she said she was killed by the TOEFL exams, ha-ha, so cute of her. Sometimes she felt a little bored when she is in Atlanta city, because she read newspapers and stand for 6 hours, and, she even tried to cut her hair. By the way, her hair is not so long. A lot of friends asked her how is she when she was in Atlanta city, and she said she was doing great all the time.

My Adventure!!!!

What is the most terrible picture of a trip you can imagine? Is it that you lost your wallet and you have to stay in a hotel, or you lost your passport so you have to make 100 times explanation to the local policemen? Recently, I had a rather a bad experience in my first trip to the U.S.
I now live in a small town, which has 55,000 population and people here drive cars everywhere. But I am a new visitor and I am not so sure about the distance between my apartment and Wal-Mart. One night I was so hungry that I decided to go to Wal-Mart to buy something to eat by riding my bike because I have no car. I was not sure how much time it will take but I was very confident that I can make it!

When everything has been ready, I armed with my T-shirt and a book bag, and then I started my adventure. At the beginning everything was OK, I was really enjoying the beautiful, quilt countryside. If I was not sure about the roads and direction, I checked the map. Once I asked a man in a gas station where is Wal-Mart, he pointed the east way and asked me would I go there by my bike. I said YES loudly and he popped his eyes and said GOOD LUCK to me.

I felt a bit cold while I was ridding, I guessed the reason why I felt cold is I was hungry. But suddenly it began to rain and became even colder! I had to ride more quickly in order to get to Wal-Mart. Then I can have a rest and come back from there. But the road seems to be endless and it rain so heavily that I had to stop ridding and stand against a big tree.

The situation I had then seemingly couldn’t be changed and I had to try to stop a car and ask them to give me a free ride. A few minutes later, a car stopped and the couple asked me if I needed a ride. Instantly I got in the car and told them my address.

As I felt I was so lucky, then the lady sat besides me began to smoke, I felt a bit uncomfortable but I said nothing, I told myself it must be common for a American woman to smoke. When I tried to turn left my head and say thank you to the man, clearly I can see many tattoos on his arm. During the preceding ride, I just tried to be comfortable and hide my fear. Fortunately, they ride me back to my apartment safely.

The End
